Shipping

The vast majority of the cats we take in each year are shipped to us. Most of the domestic shipments are frozen cougar hides. If you follow these few simple rules, you can drastically reduce the risk of damage or loss due to delay. Frozen skins are perishable, time in transit is an important consideration.

• Ship on a Monday or Tuesday, not later in the week.

• Use an insulated container and make sure your skin is fully frozen. A cheap ice chest is recommended.

• Insure your shipment, this will ensure that the carrier has some skin in the game.

• Let us know it's coming. Send us a screenshot of the tracking number and make sure we have a way to reach you.

• If it is close to Christmas, wait until after the holidays.

• Good communication with us will help us track a shipment, if there is an issue.
